Man, over 200 points? There should be a special badge in your honor. I'd email yahoo. They're probably so busy dolling out the violations that they just overlooked you. Incompetence, huh?

Hey. I have over 500 points and I'm not a top contributer. 1st of all, you need to answer questions in one catagory. A catagory you know very well. Polls and Surveys would be the easiest. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

It's not the number of points. It's how much you answer in a single category. If the little orange thing is really that important to you..pick ONE subcategory and answer lots and lots of questions. All the time...you can lose the little orange thing if you don't keep answering lots and lots.

Well for one you need way more than 200 points. You also need to start answering more than asking.

You have to get a certain percentage of Best Answers in a single category. It takes a lot of answers.....and then, you have to work hard to keep it. No one knows that formula...it just popped up one day for me. I was so tickled.

Answer lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of questions. And then get lots and lots and lots and lots of best answers. If you look at the top contributors, it's number of best answers---not answers.
