Differnce between blacks and Africans !!?

Not that you say well black (african americans) were born in the USA. And Africans are born in .............. Africa (generally). But if the only difernce in being labled african and african american is where your born thennnn .. Why do Africans and african americans look nothing alike ..people may say africans are darker due to the climate but There facial feautures are just differnt and there hair is courser they just look way differnt I dont under stand why black americans and black brits looook WAYYYYYYYY differnt from Africans.. For example even a dark dark dark African american still dosent look African I dont get it ...

The reason that African AMericans look much different then Africans is because blacks in America are very watered down. During slavery many black women were raped by their slave masters producing mullato children, and the cycle continued on like that for 300 years. You can imagine how watered down a race can become after 300 years of being raped producing so many mixed race children. You will not find many blacks here in America that are 100% black. If you look down the family line, there's almost certain to be white ancestors in there.

That is why I prefer being called Black opposed to being called an African American. I've never even been to Africa. Africans do look very different from Black americans. Even when Africans are light skinned I can tell they are African are have African parents, because of their lips and cheek bones and hair texture. Maybe it's because I'm Black, but I noticed that too.

Its all about mixing. Most Africans are pure in the sense their families blood line is all African. Black Brits and Black Americans have many combinations by many different nationalities. We have taken on the features and characteristics of who we have combined with. The average White American is not pure white either, but most like to think they are.

Because the African population in America has had much more interbreeding with other races (mostly Caucasian slave owners), so a lot of African Americans have some white blood and it shows.

African Americans in the USA are more related to West Africans(Nigeria, Angola, Cameroon, etc). African Americans also have european/native/asian blood. East Africans(Ethiopia, Eritria, etc) usually have arab & indian blood in them. Africa's one of the most diverse places in the world. The skin colour thing is more of a melanin thing, don't skip biology class again.

You don't get it because you need to think better.

Africa is a continent with people who are different from coast to coast, from nation to nation. So, you comparison is silly at best. African Americans are of African ancestry but have their own identity now.

To make even easier, White Americans are of European descent. American Whites are often different from Europeans. You will notice the diff. when you start traveling.

black family lines that have been in america for a long time have other races mixed in, plus plantation owners used to force slaves to inbreed which would cause a difference in appearance from people straight from Africa

the only different according to me,is the only language.black american do speak with american ascent but black africans do not have it.they do speak in their own ascent.on top of that, an africa is an african either born in america or elsewhere.because there is black genes working.

I think it's because black americans are more recently mixed but sometimes you can't tell the difference at all
