There are:
- 60sec in 1min
- 60min in 1hr
- 24hr in 1 day
- 365.25 days per year*, so:
60*60*24*365.25 = 31557600 sec/yr
* the 365.25 instead of 365 days comes from the fact that every four year, there is 366 days.

There's 60 seconds in a minute, and 60 minutes in an hour, and 24 hours in a day, and 365 days in a year. Multiply all these together to get the answer.
60 x 60 x 24 x 365 = 31536000 seconds

assume it isn't a leap year-
365 days/yr x 24 hrs/day x 60 min/hr x 60 sec/min = 31,536,000
In a leap year you would have 24x60x60= 86,400 more seconds.
