Darlin, you didn't tell us your interests, or what type of business you'd like to open. Given the info. you left, I'd say that you should determine what you feel comfortable with and what your interests are. With that formula in place, you can start on a small scale at this point with the money you mentioned. Later, you can invest more. But if you're doing something you enjoy, something that you are passionate about, and something that you are good at--you'll succeed.
