I've been away for a while and noticed how Con rhetoric has severely deteriorated in to childish and asinine observations and accusations, most without any merit, so what gives Cons?

I think it's the fact that Bush has shot himself in the foot so many times, there is nothing logical to say any more.

Wow, your wondering why you don't get respect in a debate with dignity and good manners? You won't even forward the respect you so desparetly crave by saying "Cons" in your question. We all know "Con" is a pajorative.
SO, asking why you get no respect while calling Conservatives "Cons" is a bit hypocrytical. Aren't "You" yourself deteriorating into childish and asinine accusations without merit?
Then, carefully examine the question you asked. Are you really trying to find an answer or provokeing the very same behavior you claim to resent. Your hypocracy in two sentences is an insight into the mind of the writter. Intellectually dishonest, and weak!

How would you fix Iraq, Afghanistan, The Tax Codes? Should Amtrak Continue as a Government subsidized rail system? How will you see that the Interstate HWY system continues to be repaired, improved and updated? What is your position on china's Population controls, Non Pollution Control, And with the recent Pet food and other meat contamination when we point a finger toward them they retaliate by not importing out goods? Global warming today but what happened to the Global Cooling in the 1970's due to the very same polution causes as today's Global warming?

They aren't interested a real debate of the issues. The whole purpose of the asinine tone of the discussion is to get people mad enough that they forget about issues that really make a difference in their lives.

cons respond appropriately to the questions that are asked, in most cases. I think that you should review the questions that come from libs, they often don't deserve to be responded to with dignity and good manors.
please keep in mind I believe it happens on both ends.

We can debate with dignity, but look at just how many posts that are here about us being "morons", "stupid", or "trailer trash", etc, etc, because we support President Bush.
We you're slung down in the mud enough times by these types of names, you tend to start slinging mud also.
