Interesting question. I think that theory of human learning is older than I am.
I believe that each person is unique. Some things you will learn more visually, some auditory, and some through feeling/practice. In reality we all learn in all three receptions. This depends largely on where you are in life, what the subject is, and what experiences you have had.
Some things are not learned consciously at all, we seem to remember them. But, this is probably due to the mechanics being the same as something we have already mastered, even though the two subjects may not appear to have anything in common.

I'm a visual learner. I found out the hard way! A week before my final exams at Uni, my bag was stolen, & in it were my lecture notes. I went into a bit of a panic, because [as usual] I had left my cramming for the last minute, & now I had no notes to cram.
During the exam, when I tried to recall information, I closed my eyes believing at the time that I'd be able to "hear" my lecturer give me the answer, but instead [to my surprise], I actually saw me taking notes and was able to read the answer I needed.
I got a HD on this exam!!!!!
Also, I never forget a face, even if decades have passed! But, I rarely can remember the name.

I am an auditory learner. I learn better if I hear the same thing over & over.

By consistently learning new and more, I have improved and am still improving my memory. ~
I use auditory and visual memory, so that I'll remember a phone number short term, by visualizing part, and repeating the rest vocally.
I have also taught myself to keep a running count while watching TV (while doing exercises.).
I can read instructions and perform them perfectly. Taught myself computers that way.

I learn by reading the material or listening to the teacher and visual helps a lot. So I guess all of the above.

Any method works fine for me. I learn very quickly and large amounts. The only thing I hate is the lesson goes too slow.

the psychologists say that one learns most by seeing and hearing at the same time the piece of information. so, the best way would be to be very attentive in class, or have someone who knows explain it you!
