No way. First of all, Republicans don't control the launching of any missiles. Second of all, Bush is in enough trouble with the mess in Iraq so I doubt starting another war is gonna win votes.

Well I kind of doubt that the Republicans have their own supply of cruise missles to call upon so I assume you are speaking of the Bush administration. At this point I have no idea what this administration is capable of. However, the phrases that they use to describe the situation with Iran is very much like how they spoke of Iraq which is scary. Can you or anyone else explain how this wins an election though?

Not this next election, but suppose the next President is someone just like George Bush, and the Democrats continue to be demanding we get out of Iraq PDQ, to stay in power, the President will need for something pretty bad to happen, like 9/11 II ... suppose there is a nuke go off in some US city and the President says the terrorists got it from Iran.

No inspite of the indisputable fact that the area is in getting extra minorities to vote on the topics really than as blocks in protecting with race, ethnicity and so on. look on the reactions good no longer to Obama's courtroom %.- hispanic communities and democrats are caution the GOP no longer to oppose her and they'll use GOP competition as an election situation claiming that's race depending even as that's in protecting such as her ideology and conception that judges make coverage and regulation really than implement the guidelines that are written. even as all and multiple places their race above the topics that's going to develop into not ordinary to have a rational communicate

Nuclear strikes against Iran will NOT happen; they will be prevented by our friends in very high places. For sure, the ones in power are definitely seeking to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, but it will NOT be allowed to happen.

i wouldn't doubt it there already making up stories about Iran, cheney said in 2004 that the US would not allow a regime change during war time, this seems to be the way neocons think as dumb as that might seem, bush has to be stopped he definitely would like to attack Iran,he can not attack Pakistan where bin laden is hiding because Pakistan has nuclear weapons,if Iran had nuclear weapons bush would never attack,he is a coward that will aways pick the easiest target,if iraqhad nuclear weapons there would be no war at all,

Leiberman is a Democrat, and a liberal one at that. Do I think the Republicans would stoop to attack Iran to win an election? First, I don't think there is any basis to think that an attack would have a positive effect on the voters right now, it would more than likely have a negative impact. We will fight Iran only if they leave no other alternative.

I believe Bush is trying to push into war with Iran already. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is just as dangerous as Bush. They are already sending fighters and weapons to Iraq. What If Germany stood up to Hitler? Ahmadinejad has already stated his agenda is for the destruction of Israel. And push wants to punish those who do not agree with him. I suspect that he has crossed that line. We have the power to stop Hitler now. stand up and demand that congress bring impeachment charges against him. My god today he ignored the will of the people for his own religious convictions and set back science years. I repent for voting for him. This is one more thing that will cause me to vote Democrat for the first time in 36 years.

Lieberman is not a Republican and is not running for office. President Bush will not be running for office. Other Republicans cannot tell the President what to do. They cannot tell the military what to do. No one believes getting votes is a reason for attacking Iran.

As the Israelis are the #1 target of Iran, it is fitting for them to take out this menace.
Hopefully the enemy did not put the facility atop a school and a hospital...evil illigits like to do that!
