Factories weren't around during the time of slaves, they came almost directly after.

However, the slaves were known to practice Capoera to protect themselves against their masters.

Yes, it's the same fighting style as Eddie Gordo, Tiger, and Christie Monteiro from Tekken 3-5DR.

are you talking about the enslaved Africans that were brought over to America. there was no resistance, they were sold by an African leader. what factories are you talking about. by the way the Spanish enslaved the Indians like 200 years before the white man came over and brought their slaves. its the past let it go. what matters is the future.

Mainly they attempted continued escape, but that wasn't all (by factories I am assuming here, unlike the answers above, that you are referring to where they were collected and then shipped out/sold). They also slowed the progress, feigned tiredness or illness. Slaves, contrary to some misunderstandings today, were in a constant state of subtle rebellion. They rebelled in little ways, in every way, constantly, always trying to find that fine line between what they could and could not get away with.
