Hmm well i have black vans slip ons which is pretty much the same material as converse.. i just scrub the white part with shoe cleaner and like a toothbrush (i know toothpaste helps make it whiter) annddd then i throw them in the washer (cold water) and i let them sit out to dry

dont fade for me

Wash with color safe bleach in your washing machine. When you pull them out, stuff them with newspaper or some kind of cloth so they keep their shape until dry. Let them air dry in a shady spot.
