No...no,no,no,no,no,no
- Astronauts gather moon rocks and tested them here on earth, they were not made in a CIA kiln at area 51 or something, they were not from earth either as a trained geologist would realise immediately.
- Each lunar mission left a refractor, a mirror of sorts which allowed scientists on earth to accurately measure the distance between the moon and earth with a laser.
- The Soviet Union could have landed a man on the moon before the US, but because of the lack of funding they fell behind. Once they realised, their govenment cut funding, and the project was scrapped as it gave them no material for propaganda.
- The moon has mass, therefore it has gravity, thats why the astronauts could walk around on the surface and dust settled.
- There were no stars in the background as the sun's light obscured them from view, much like during the day on earth.
- If they made the first landing a hoax, why bother making more? The point was already proven; 1st man on the moon. The more they make, the more likely the secret is exposed.
- Why didn't they return after the last landing? NASA was focussing on Skylab and the Shuttle program, money was diverted to these two projects, leaving none for the lunar missions. Planned missions were scrapped as there was little else to discover from visiting again.

Yes we landed on the moon... duh
here are the main conspiracies
-There are no stars: The lunar surface is so reflective it over powered the tiny little stars. So the only way to see it would be if they blocked out the entire lunar surface and waited a few minuets... they don't have that kinda time...
-The shadows aren't equal: They landed on a rocky, uneven surface, duh the shadows aren't gonna be even...
-The flag was waving: The astronaut had to shake and pound the pole/flag to get it to stay in the lunar surface, it was just wobbling around while it was being put in the ground... in all other photos it was perfectly still...
-There was no crater in the lunar dust: There was only like an inch of regolith on the surface and if you watch the landing video Armstrong says "ok, starting to kick up some dust."
-The Rover was too big to fit in the Lunar Module: The rover was so cleaverly designed, that it could be folded to the size of a large suitcase. duh...
-Earth is surrounded by the Van Allen Belt: The only way the astronauts could have been harmed by the belt is if they sat there for like a month and did nothing but soak up radiation... they went through it in less than 4 days...
-THe film, in that kind of extrem temp. would shatter: Well technically if you went in the middle of lunar night and threw the film with nothing on it out of the craft yeah, it would shatter, but the astronauts went at either luner day break or night-fall where there were more managable temps, and the film was protected and therefore it didn't break...
-How did the footprints stay in place w/o water: Because there is no air and less gravity that inch of dust was able to retain its shape...
If you are still not convinced that we have ventured to the moon and returned then you need to go and see a therapist...-

No, I do not think the moonlanding was staged, and the only people I've come across who do are frankly ignorant of the entire enterprise. Who in their right minds thinks they can tell if something as extensively documented and technically complex as Apollo was staged by looking at thrity seconds of video and three pictures?! One person on here said the Moon has no gravity! If you can't even get basic stuff like that right why should we treat your conclusions seriously? The Moon has 1/6th Earth's gravity, therefore, things fall to the ground on the Moon, just a bit slower than they do on Earth. The guy who says the astronauts are reclusive and not giving interviews hasn't checked the web properly. Half of them have websites and make regular appearances. I've seen interviews with many, I've met a few in person. They are anything BUT reclusive!
And frankly, your use of the singular 'landing' in the title suggests you don't even know that there was more than one landing made in Project Apollo.
Sorry if this seems like a rant, but this question comes up every. single. day. and I am just a little tired of answering it.

If we did not land on the Moon in the late 60s, the Russians would have had some real good evidence and proof maybe with some photographs and diagrams explaining why.

No! I watched it on television and it certainly didn't look staged. Further, there is so much hard evidence that supports the landing that it would be very difficult to prove that it was staged!

No. Our govt is too sloppy to stage anything with so many people involved. Too much hard science was obtained for it have been faked.

No, it definitely happened but there is a possibility that some of of the TV images were enhanced for effect. If so, I can live with it.

yes -well maybe!, the behavior of the astronauts since .i.e shunning the limelight and acting as if they're trying to keep as low as profile as possible.Shouldn't they still be giving interviews, chat shows, lecture circuits?-- not conclusive evidence but strange nontheless!

They left a mirror there that we have bounced a laser off it for several years.
