There's so many of them...however, I'm in a WWII mood right now, so I have to go with General George Patton. He was an amazing tactician, well-read and really an interesting character.

Golda Meir, for becoming a Woman Prime Minister of Israel and for her humor and wit. Once she said about Moses, "He dragged us 40 years through the desert to bring us to the one place in the Middle East where there was no oil." She also had an ironic sense of humor. She said to departing young Jewish volunteers who had rushed to Israel during the Six-Day War: "You were ready to die with us. Why don't you live with us?"

I would have to say cleopatra because of her motivation and willingness. she sounds so beautiful and petite too. i liked how she went through war with her father unexpectedly too! although i am crossed with another person called anacaona which is really cool too, i loved her knack to fight, and how she admired birds so much, and how she was so courageous!
