Obama, I'm conservative and his lack of time in big government has me on shaky ground, but he's eloquent and intelligent otherwise.

For the Democrats either Obama if Hillary gets the number one spot. If Obama gets number one than I can see Edwards or maybe Richardson. For the Republicans I can see if Rudy gets number one spot, either Romney or Thompson. If McCain is lucky and gets nominated, which I don't think will happen he could select Rudy or Mitt or Fred.

For the Democrats I can see Hillary choosing Obama, Biden, Evan Bayh or possible Richardson. If it's Obama, which I doubt, he may choose Biden or Richardson.

McCain might make a good VP for the Repubs, or possibly Huckabee.

None. If one's ego is so big as to run for President, accepting second place might seem like total failure. Presidential candidates, who settled for second, then became President, were not ideal Presidents. For example: Lyndon Johnson and George H. W. Bush.

Ron Paul is too powerful/Dynamic of a leader to be "just' a vice president. The other canidates seem just the same ohh, same ohh more of the same "can't we just all get along" politicians(magicians!) of THE demo/repubie party.

depends on the presidential nominee-

i think hillary would pick barack or richardson. (she's the only 'top tier' from either side i could see picking another 'top tier' person like obama)

i think barack would pick richardson or possibly dodd or kucinich.... not likely though.

edwards doesnt stand a chance and wouldnt take VP again (nor would it be offered).

the rep top tier would not select anyone else from the top tier. the VP hopefuls there would be tancredo, huckabee or brownback.

mccain is DOA at this point.

guiliani and romney arent going to share the stage with anyone else from their tier.

I want to see a Guiliani/Romney ticket. Both are tough on the tough issues. Though their positions on certain issues have changed over the years (or at least been modified), they represent my values more than a Hillary/Bill/Anybody or a Obama/Anybody ticket would.

Bill Richardson. He doesn't have the momentum to be the nominee, but he is so qualified and Latino.
