Smooth jazz is so cool. I like to listen to it when I fall asleep and Im a pretty low-key, go with the flow, relaxed person so I'd definitely say smooth jazz. Someone who would choose "hardcore" to me would be someone who likes to instigate drama and be very demanding and harsh..although dont get me wrong, i love to rock out

Depends on the mood. Sometimes bebop: Diz, Pres, Bird. Sometimes West coast: Chet Baker, John Coltrane, Gerry Mulligan. Once in awhile fusion: Miles or Weather Report.

Old-school Fusion - Headhunters, Miles, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Stanley Clarke, etc. Funk, rock and jazz brewed up some incredible music back in the day.
