Though I can't begin to imagine the rationale behind your Q, I'm going to be respectful and believe that "SENTRY" is a BRAND, not a bird, in this instance. AND that by eggs you refer to those that come from a CHICKEN. I know birds, and the designation SENTRY is exactly what WEBSTER states, even in the bird species. I also depend on spell check occasionally.

I was born and raised on a chicken farm, although probably more years ago than you've been alive, and in those days a processed, molded cardboard was used. Plastic was relatively new. That still holds true today with smaller farmers and suppliers,, but in large measure (no pun intended) STYROfoam is the way of the corporate world today.

The good news, and the bad: Good first. Processed cardboard does eventually degrade and recycle. STYRO will be around as long as Roaches. Big sigh.
