What is REALLY effective in removing the decal and the sticky residue? I'm not worried about the decal staying intact. Removing it in bits and pieces is fine with me. I'd prefer some suggestions using household items but all suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Alcohol (rubbing) and a razor blade!! Just pour the alcohol onto the gummy residue and use the razor blade to scrape it off. So effective.

First, gently scrape off as much as you can with a razor blade, then use a product called Oops on a cotton rag to remove the residue. Use windex and a coffee filter, newspaper sheet or lintless rag to get rid of the streaks and you should be all set. Hope this helps.

The Best Way is Goo Gone. Let it soak in for a couple of minutes and then reapply an wipe in a circular motion with a paper towel. Then follow up with rubbing alcohol to remove the greasy film left behind.

Use rubbing alcohol! Scrape off whatever will come easily, soak a rag with the rubbing alcohol and hold it over the sticker to soak it for a minute. If it's a large area, lay a cloth over it and saturate the cloth with the alcohol. The sticker will scrape and rub right off.

I use Go-Gone... not only does it work wonders it also smells nice. Make sure you let it soak in... normally I soak a paper towel in the go-gone and then lay it over the sticker... you may want to get a putty knife to work it up a little bit... keep using the go-gone to get all the sticky stuff off and then to clean it all up I use a little Windex.

I use a small cloth soaked in rubbing alcohol to take decals and other sticky things from glass and it's always worked well for me. :)

Try a baking soda and little bit of water mixture and rub it in with a scrubby thing and if anything is left try the good old razor to finish the job.
