Why is it that if I say I hate Hillary Clinton's ideology, voting record, and plans for America then somebody will tell me I'm just scared of "strong, capable women"? Why is it that if I say I dislike Obama's stance on the issues then I'm a sheet wearing bigot? Why is it that if Romney and I don't agree on much then I'm prejudiced against mormons? Why is it that if I admit McCain's authoritarian views scare me then it's obvious I don't support veterans? Why is it that the people quickest to play the race/gender/religion card are the ones screaming the loudest that race/gender/religion shouldn't matter?

Max-
Point taken. I've just noticed on YA that you can't say ANYTHING bad about ANYONE without SOMEONE playing the r/g/r card. I could badmouth Satan himself, and somebody would claim that I was just intolerant of pagan devil worshippers. But you're right, not everybody does it. Or even most people.

Because it's a quick response attacking your choice, without having to put any thought into real arguments that might counter your beliefs.

Because they REALLY think that. I've decided that about most people. In their own lives, they've been raised to think that they deserve some special treatment because they are _______ (fill in the blank). They project those feelings onto other groups whom they also deem deserving of such treatment. I'm not trying to pick a fight, but it's really a liberal ideology. They really DO see people and judge them by what they look like, by their gender, etc. It's at the very forefront of their minds. They can't get over the fact that someone could be chosen to a position because she is capable, not just because she's black or a woman (Condoleeza as Sec of State perfect example). You want to look past it and see the true person, and they won't let you!!!

People attack you, or play the cards when they don't understand your point of view, it makes them feel ignorant.. If they feel ignorant or threatened, then they always get defensive. Also some people think that thee views are the only ones that matter, so therefore you must feel threatened. This is called narrow minded, someone who doesn't understand that there are many opinions, and just because someone doesnt agree with you doesnt make them wrong. Not all people are arrogent in this way, but I know where you are coming from..

Because it's so easy. When you have shortcomings you can play the race card or the gender card. Now religious people pretty much take a lot of criticism because that's what the libturd media wants to do.

I won't tell you those things, 'cause I agree with you. Who wants a Marxist, pacifist black man (actually part white) or a Marxists, pacifist woman running our foreign and economic policies. Can you say "America, the world's doormat?" I knew you could.

Pick your candidate for his or her ideology. Forget their biological specifications.

They do such because they have no valid opinions of their own but disagree with you. Therefore they perform reverse prejudism, which is also being prejudiced, except in their own minds they cannot see it that way.

"Everyone" does not play the race/gender/religion card. That's the absurdity of absolutes. I understand your point however.
