Vaseline is not good advice - contrary to what everyone thinks it hardens skin not softens it - (it's pure petroleum = not a good product) The pumice stone is great (for the shower) - as is making a sea salt shower scrub. I prefer and use Awaken by Arbonne but make your own with kosher salt and olive oil and it helps dead skin go away and soak moisture in. If your cracks turn painful try some of the lotions Dr. Scholls makes - and sleep with socks on - also an herbal foot cream is effective. Bed Bath Beyond makes a section devoted to the feet - which is a good product. The more natural the cream the better but you need to work the dead skin off.

everybody skin is sensitive to different levels, but if you have dry skin at your heels, you should apply some lotions to prevent them from getting worse...
