When I was choosing my y!a name, I couldn't decide which to pick. Then an idea came to me. Why don't I pick a name which symbolizes who I am and what I love? I thought about my passions. Generally, I have a passion for a variety of activities, such as running, playing soccer, playing badminton, skiining, iceskating, etc. Then I asked myself, Why do I love these things? The answer to that was that I loved these activities because that was when I could really feel free, and be lost in the game. To feel the wind in my hair, to not have any chains to this world... that is what I love, because that was when I could escape reality and enter my own peaceful little world. Thus, the name "feelthewind" came into being; this symbolized all that I strive for. :)

I used to use the screen name Moongoddess when I first started using the Internet way back in 1993. Then five million other women adopted that name. So I evolved into this because it's sort of an oxymoron.

Denim is the one word that has been a part of my life for literally as long as I can remember. I remember arguing with my dad when I was 4 or 5 about wanting to wear blue jeans to my aunt's after Easter Services. He said I had to stay in my dress or wear the jeans under my dress. I said I wasn't going to do THAT! He won that one.
