Ron Paul is legit. I've been following him since 1976, and he's been consistent all through that time in his policies and his voting record. I don't think he'll disappoint you.
I'm a little uncomfortable with the Alex Jones thing too, but Dr. Paul didn't invite that endorsement. He's not in that camp, but I guess maybe he feels that a little suspicion of government is never something to fight against. It's not like we've never experienced Watergate, Whitewater, and Teapot Dome.

Paul is a fairly consistent Libertarian. The fact that that attracts many conservatives is nothing new.
He is no friend of the neo-con policies. He is no wolf in sheep clothing. He is what he says he is.
I hope he can make an impact in NH, and then may gain some serious traction. I have to stick with the nominee for the Republicans however in the end. If Paul can not win the nomination then he can't win on his own, and at least at this point, I can't throw away a vote when much is at stake (unless the nominee is McCain, then I am voting for Paul...throwing my vote away or not). He has to perform well in NH to have a hope of continuance. He has a tough fight to get there. I hope Paul gets the nomination however, and wish him luck.

Ronald Ernest Paul (born August 20, 1935) is a 10th-term Congressman, obstetrician (M.D.), and a 2008 presidential candidate from the U.S. state of Texas, seeking the nomination of the Republican Party. Paul's presidential campaign has received considerable attention after his participation in the televised Republican presidential debates.
He's been around for awhile and I haven't found and issue that he has changed his position on ever. Listen to the debates on Youtube.

Ron Paul has been misinterpreted many times about why we were attacked. People keep stating he blames America or "its Americas fault" What Ron Paul did say, was our foreign policy was to blame and we should "listen" to our enemies. He pointed out that the 9/11 commission report stated the exact same thing he has been saying; that we were attacked because we were building Military installations on Muslim Holy Land. Also, if you would read Osama's Fatwa.. he declared war on the US in 1996 for these very same reasons.
Please, do some reading and stop repeating what dumbfvck Rudy Giuliani is saying. You may learn something.
He know's more about foreign policy, the economy, the treasury and trade than all the other candidates combined.
Guys like Rudy are one trick ponies.. "terror, terrorism, terrorist" is all you hear. They want you to live in fear and vote for them to keep you safe from the boogey man.

He vehemently defends the constitution and would never ABUSE HABIUS CORPUS. Apparently you have not done your research on the man so I will give you a taste. He is a true American and I am behind this man all the way!
Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

I do agree that Alex Jones' endorsement is anything but positive. I do believe that Ron Paul is exactly what this country needs right now, regardless of the quacks that also endorse him. If we as citizens of this country could create a person to lead our nation, this man is exactly who we would create.

He has always voted the same way and from his record as a doctor, he seems like a truly good person. Power goes to a lot of people's heads, but it seems Dr. Paul has been able to resist so far.
Never give absolute trust to anyone in the government, but Ron Paul seems better than anyone else in the government so far.

he is so much a sheep in wolves's clothing that folks like Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Hanity, (all of whom I of late have curtailed my viewing) have boycotted him. Glen and the other NEO-CONS have done things like a poll who would you vote for to receive the Republican Nomination. and then only present 8 of the 10 Nominees Ron Paul is missing. Every time they turn around on this subject then talk negative about him. makes me wonder.
RON PAUL IN 2008!
Revelation babe kick them all out.
