I have a verizon vcast phone and the USB cable but I can't get the pictures from my phone onto my computer. Do I need some kind of software or what?

You will need to download a driver. Below is a link where you can do that. Or, If you have picture mail or internet on your phone you should just be able to email them to yourself. Or on my phone I have an upload option for pictures then I can go to the website and download the pics from there to my pc.

check the phones website for any software that you can download onto your pc to help with this.
Also make sure your version of Windows is compatible with the software you download. Think on the vcast you can send yourself an email with the pic, try that as well

Most phones need some type of software for tht to happen. I have a motorla L6 and I need to use software to transfer the pictures to computer.

open the picture and than right click and than there will be a option SEND PHOTO click on that and than they will ask you for the message thang than type in nd than they will ask you to WHOM or they'll write somethin like TO: than u can just type number's over there, to go on alphabetical things press this buton on ur phone # and than u can type alphabets, send that on your e-mail!!! n than that will be in your computer!

umm.. do you have it on a memory card? if you do transfer the pics on the memo card and just put that in the computer
