It's certainly true the Internet is an international medium.

English is the language of choice overwhelmingly, but not exclusively, on the Internet.

Whatever language you use, you should attempt your best to convey your meaning, and the readers should attempt to decipher it, and cut some slack for non-native writers.

However, some of the native English-speakers (-writers) here seem to have far worse spelling and grammar than those for whom English is a second language.

Pity, that.

Go look in your guidelines. If you are on this particular website, you must post it in English. If you want to speak another language, then go to that other country's Yahoo Answers. I'm sure it will be alot more boring.

I agree, however if your going to type/speak in english you should at least try. If you from somewhere else thats fine, ask the questions you want to ask in the language you speak. Thats what I do.

If you speak a different language, I certainly get your point.

If you only speak one language, shouldn't you speak it properly?

your occasional typo is one thing, everyone makes them, but bad typing and english makes the post really hard to read and (assuming your language is english) makes you appear uneducated.
