for the kids? I know a couple w/ 3 kids who have a few luxuries and I knwo for a fact that they, together, at least 100K annually. They also tell their kids they can't afford things and tell us that they are not wealthy at all. Any of you ever heard of this?

Money is one thing that should never be discussed openly. What a hard-working couple decides to do with their earned money is their business alone. Maybe they have upcoming expenses like college they are saving. maybe they are trying to start a small business. Any way you slice it, a child has no input on what a parent brings in, as long as food, clothing, shelter, and education are provided. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Understand?
