To dream about sex with someone other than your spouse or significant other, suggests dissatisfaction with the physical side of your relationship. On the other hand, it may be harmless fantasy. In such situations, you may find that you are less inhibited sexually and you can even bring that sense of adventure to your existing relationship.

To dream that you are having sex with an ex or someone who is not your current mate, denotes your reservations about embarking in a new relationship or situation. You may feel nervous about exposing yourself or currently feel a resurgence of those old emotions and feelings that you felt back when you and your ex were together. Believe it or not, it is not uncommon for people approaching their wedding to experience especially erotic adventures with partners other than their intended spouses. This may be due to the intensity of your sexual passion with your fianc. It also relates to the new roles that you will be taking on and the uncertainty that that may bring.

Regarding fantasy, Helen Fisher ("The First Sex," Ballantine Books, Feb. 2000) says that 71 percent of men and 72 percent of women fantasize while having sex with a partner. Men fantasize about conquest and domination, women about submission and surrender.

Dr. Joyce Brothers says, "It might relieve some of your guilt to know that many happily married individuals who have no thought or intention of ever betraying their spouse have sexual fantasies about someone other than their spouse."

I have dreams about sex almost every night. Some times it's with my man and some times it's with someone I know and some times just some anonymous guy.

I never act on it. I usually laugh about it. When we're sleeping, our brains have a tendancy to mix up everything in our subconscious and throw it all back together again in random order.

I also dream that I live in my old house in California or that I'm back in high school or that I'm late for the airport. It's just the brain purging itself and getting ready for a new day.

IF however, you are day-dreaming about another man...well, you'll just have to take control of those thoughts as they come up. Replace them with nice thoughts about your husband and good things in your life together. Eventually, hopefully, those feelings will fade.

yes, I've had sexual dreams, and sometimes they are not even with people that I desire at all, so don't interpret sexual dreams as always a sure sign that you desire someone sexually.
Dreams are symbolic. Often what you dream needs to be interpreted to find out what the dream is telling you. Don't take dreams always at face value.
If, however, you know that you desire this person when you are awake, then why don't you analyze what you find appealing in this person to understand why you are having those dreams.

Sure!

I also dream of having sex with my spouse.

Fantasies are normal and healthful.

If you act them out, they cease being fantasies. Often they are fantasies because you know they are unrealistic - but in any case, if you cease having fantasies, that isn't healthful.

Instead of making the fantasies stop, feel free to live them out - with your spouse. He'll enjoy your passion, and you'll enjoy it, too.

Yes I have dreams about doing other women and they come very close to being wet dreams. Usually I wake up with an erection and wishing that I would have had a wet dream. But no, I would never act on it and you can't help what you dream about. Wish I could tho. >:)

Of course I do, and if anyone aswers no they are telling a bald faced lie. We all dream and half of the time we can't control who pops up in those dreams I especially hate when one of my co-workers pops up in there, but it always makes for great entertainment at work especially when I'm caught off guard
