It says something like memory deleted in IE or something like that. I have to go back to a restore point to get back on the internet. Any help would be great.

Get rid of Spybot S&D, the owner is a personal friend. With the help of his university students in Germany they build this software. It is not all that good.
Antispyware I use three. You can only use one antivirus program or you will have serious conflict with your system.
Superantispyware, known to find what all other anitspyware will miss. http://www.superantispyware.com
A2Squard Malware out of Austria. Download their free version and you will be protected from, rogue dialers, worms, malware, keyloggers, trace spyware and rouge cookies.

AdAware SE Personal out of Sweden. This antispyware company has been around since computers became commerical. In June of this year they will come out with a brand new version. Right now it is beta testing. Download their free home for personal use. http://www.lavasoft.com
All of these program I have listed for you use little or no resources.

Dump Spybot and download and scan your machine with one of these GOOD anti-spyware /adware programs.
Spybot was once a great program, but unfortunately has seen better days.

Ewido (Now called AVG Anti-Spyware) do not download AVG anti-virus.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Might just be corrupted, on you might have a virus or Trojan that's messing with it.
Try Ad-Aware and CounterSpy (trial)
Also try uninstalling it and re-installing it

get rid of that crappy software and use Windows Defender instead,,,its free and it runs super.
