Distance Formula

d = √(x₂- x₁)² + (y₂- y₁)²

Ordered pair

(3, 2)(- 5, - 6)

d = √(- 5 - 3)² + (- 6 - 2)²

d = √( - 8)² + (- 8)²

d = √64 + 64

d = √128

d = 13.85640646

Trust me if you hate math your never going to get ahead in the world. If i told you the answer you wouldn't learn anything ask your math teacher how to do the problem and practise them at home. Don't rely on yahoo answers

Plot the points. Draw the right triangle. Use the Pythagorean relation.

use the distance formula
d=square root of (x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2
using that you get d=8root2
