To change the channel of the router, you need to go into the router's admin screen via your web browser. The address varies depending on the router, but it will probably be something like http://192.168.0.1 or http://10.0.0.1

If you're lucky, the default address will be printed on a label on the router itself - if not, it will be in the manual.

Once you're in, you should see a screen allowing you to change the wireless channel.
