First stop using your debit card.

Then call them or go into a branch and explain your situation to a personal banker. They may be able to refund some of the fees (so be nice to them) but will most certainly work with you to get your account posative again. They will want to know how much you can pay and when so be prepared. Also don't let this go too long they could close your account and report you to ChexSystems and that would make it really ahrd for you to open a new account somewhere else.

Good Luck!

Talk to the bank. If this is the first time that this has happened, you MIGHT be able to get them to drop the overdraft fees. If you go long enough without paying, they'll shut down your account and report you to an agency that will make it difficult (if not impossible) to get a bank account with another bank for the next 2 or 3 years.

You might want to ask someone for a loan, because this can be a serious headache down the line if you don't address it quickly.

It's really important that you contact them and arrange to pay. If you contact them, they will usually make arrangements. If you don't they assume you are a deadbeat and are trying to get out of paying all together. Tell them you are a college student, they will probably ask you how much you can pay each month.
