Yes, she got pregnant from it too and the rapist had tourette syndrome and so does her son. She told her son that another man is his dad (ex-boyfriend who is now deceased), yet she loves her son very much.
I was no help as im 19 and she is like 38. I was never old enough to give help and only found this information out a year ago.

When I was a little younger than I am now, I dated 3 females that had been raped and lost their viginity that way. All three of them gave themselves freely to any man they dated even if they didn't really like the guy. Of course I didn't know about it until after things got serious. Each one ended on good terms but not because of the fact. It's a shame that men feel the need to have by taking by force.

Yes, my neighbor's daughter was date raped in high school. It messed her up emotionally for quite awhile. She's doing fine now, but for years afterward, she battled depression and an endless string of loser boyfriends. She's a very pretty and smart girl, but it was like she didn't think she deserved any better. The best thing she ever did was tell her parents about it immediately. They shared her rage, and really helped her a lot.
I was outside in the front yard when my neighbor came over and told me about it. Apparently the guy had gone missing. The police had been notified and were already looking for him. My neighbor was going out himself to look for him also. He was very calm, but as his friend who knew him under normal circumstances, the inner rage was obvious. All I told him was, "If anybody asks me...you were at my house all night watching TV and drinking beer."

my friend has, and i didn't know her very well at the time, but i do now. for her, she practically let it destroy her. it was such a hard thing to discuss with her family members and other people. it left her feeling ruined and depressed. but she got into therapy, went to a different school, made different friends, and learned to take charge of her life and get it on track. now shes getting married and has left that stuff from her past behind her. i think its really up to a person how they handle it. luckily she's been able to be strong and let in the love and support from her family and friends.

Yes she seemed to be in denial since she was drugged as well. We had to make her go to the dr's and report it to the cops. I was with her the whole way, it bothered me for a long time.

Yes. It was my best friend Catherine. She didn't handle it too well. She fell into a great depression and she killed herself last year. I went to counciling with her and I spent all the time I could with her...but it didn't help....
