Thank you for bringing this up.

The answer is no.

If OJ were a white man Sharpton would have been furious that he got out.

Rev. Al Sharpton is a man with funny hair who uses race to bring himself attention and money. It is sad because there is a real problem with racial issues in this country but Sharpton uses the race card so often, it seems more like a joke than a problem.

Probably not. But Whites would have been furious. The truth of the matter is that O.J. was found not guilty and Whites found a way to try him again for the same crime. Even though the double jeopardy law prohibits this. It was unheard of before O.J. to have a civil case against someone that was found not guilty. So now O.J. is not guilty but found responsible for the crime anyway.

I for one don't care what Al Sharpton says or does. He is right in this situation. Paris Hilton is getting special treatment. $1100 a day while others in jail cost $100. Other families have to spend hours in line in order to see a family member. Not the Hiltons they are rushed right through. They even made a person talking to her family member cut her visit short so the Hiltons could talk to their daughter. She was told she could come back later.

Ask yourself is that fair. Why should the Hiltons get cut in line? Are they better than the rest of us? Sheriff Baca is giving this family special treatment. Yeah it smacks of racist but even you should be upset that if you don't have the bank account then the laws apply to you. But be a millionaire and get a pass on the crimes you break and get first place in line, doesn't matter how many were there before you.

Where was Al Sharpton when Channon Christian &Chris Newsome were murdered in Knoxvolle Tn.? First they were car-jacked by 4 males and 1 female. Then they all raped Christopher, cut his penis off, set him on fire and shot him several times while making Channon watch this all unfold.

Next they took Channon, beat and gang raped her in every imagineable way. For 4 days they did this to her.Next, they took turns urinating on her, cut her breast off and poured chemicals in her mouth. Then they murdered her.

Letalvis Cobbins 24, George Thomas 24, Vanessa Coleman 18, Eric Boyd 24 & Lamaricus Davidson 25 were all arrested for this crime.

So Al sharpton, where were you? Could it be that the victims were white and the perps are black? I bet if it was 2 young black kids horrifically murdered this way by whites, Al would have his nose right in it.

Sharpton is a racist against white people. He considers himself an advocate, a voice for the people, one who stands up to right the wrongs done to people, a spokesperson for crime victims... but only if it pertains to black people!!!

Al Sharpton should just butt out!!

I think ol' webpage master should look up the history of Rodney King before he says too much more about double jeopardy and civil rights trials.

And I don't seem to recall any riots by angry white people when OJ got off on his murder charge.

Paris is in jail, where she should be. One question that must be asked though, is her sentence actually more stringent than regular people in the same circumstances? I would be if someone were willing to research it, the answer would be yes.

Isn't this a hypothetical question best posed to Al Sharpton, because who else can competently speak to his reactions and motivations better than he can?

No. He probably would have been upset that she was put in jail. He would be pulling out the race card.
