I was a failure at that for a long time, I guess I just didn't know how. Now when I see a happy family at the cabin in the pines I know I've succeeded at least once

I have always love fashion designing and this girl in college, who also shares the same interest with me tried to be competitive with me. She would boast to me about her latest designs and attachments in famous boutiques with famous designers. It makes me feel really low at times as if i weren't good enough for the course I'm taking and I lost a lot of confidence.
Once we entered a fashion designing competition together. She tried to discourage me by telling that she is very prepared for the competition because of all the experiences she had, which reminded me indirectly what I am lacking for the competition.
At the end of the day, I was announced the winner and got hired to work for a very famous designer label. She was definitely pissed and embarrassed and totally jealous!
But it's not about beating her. It's about me gaining back my confidence in doing the things I really love!

I don't really think that it proved how good I was at searching for it, I truly think that meeting my honey .. it was a power much higher than me-- that had something to do with that.
