This Jerk was bothering me the other day and he kept pushing me then he had a bit of sharp metal in his hand from our previous Engineering lesson and lunged at me so i didnt hesitate and my karate came in to action and i knife handed his throat and gave him with all my might a groin kick which kinda lifted him up. he was shocked and was feeling sick. His parents came in because he claims he has problems now from this incident the other week. was i right and what should i do because theres no witnesses?

If you're attacked you have a right to defend yourself with as much force as is necessary to reasonably repel the assault. If they don't like the way the assault was repelled, perhaps they should cease the practice of attacking people. That said, you may not legally EXCEED the force necessary or continue violent aggression once the assault-phase stops, but that's a subjective gray area legally based on your assessment of when danger ( or threat) to you has ceased. I don't see that even an apology from you is warranted (assuming your facts are accurate), and I don't see where there's anything for you to have to "do". Have you been brought up on charges of some sort?

Just tell your side of the story. Seriously, if you didn't start this mess, you will be fine.

If he was shoving you, I think you have a right to defend yourself, especially if he had a piece of metal in his hands.
