You are to leave behing anything which is classified as a permanent fixture. This includes built in appliances, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and anything else which is either fastened down in a permanent fashion or is directly wired to the home electrical system. Window treatments are not a permanent fixture, but the drapery rods and blinds are.

If you have any rented equipment in the house, such as a water softener, arrange to have it removed prior to leaving. If you do not remove it, it will go with the house and you will end up being charged for it.
