I had this conversation with a friend of mine. We both agreed that we wanted to be the kid from Robocop 2. Great minds think alike. I briefly wanted to be the kid that could talk to dolphins from Sea Quest DSV. Who did you want to be as a kid, or even who do you want to be now, and why.

As a kid I also wanted to be the guy from Dream On, that series about a single bloke who seemed to get alot of ***** every week, or at least there would be some ***** in every episode. ***** = Sexual encounter(s) with girl(s).

I wanted to be a princess, I dig the costumes and charming endings to the stories, well, that dream got crushed. Thanks Messieurs Grimm!

Its funny when I was smaller, I always knew what I wanted to be. First of all, I wanted to be a vet, then a police officer, now when its actually important, I don't have a clue! I suppose I was attracted to these occupations because it meant I was helping and doing a job which I could feel proud of. I'm a real animal-people person.
But that's the exact reason which put me off of being a vet. Seeing animals suffering or dieing - I wouldn't be able to control my emotions. Thus, making me a liability. Plus the fact that I feel sick around blood and injections - not so useful hey? Even in movies when the story isn't real, I end up crying!

thanks
take care

When I was about 9-10 I really wanted to be a successful salesperson, with a convertible and sunglasses when I grew up (well it was the 80s!) but then when I reached that age I decided that some things in life were more important than all that and settled down and had a family! Never looked back.

A little indian from a comic strip by the name of Hiawatha, well, at least a female version. Complete with horse and spirit animal. I adored that eagle eye of his.

I wanted to be wonder woman - I regularly used to get laughed at for wearing my knickers over my trousers and tucking a towel into my collar as a cape!!!

My brother however wanted to be a smurf - when he was asked at school and then asked to explain why he said 'so when I fart nobody will know its me'!! Bless - hes 32 now and still wants to be a smurf!!!

I don't think I've ever wanted to be another person, real or fictional! I had lots of ambitions as a kid, like being an astronaut or explorer, but not a named individual!
