I've used that same argument against those who try to say the 2nd only applies to militias. If you say that, then the freedoms of the 1st and the 4th must also be subject to the same type of limitations.

The wording in the Declaration of Independence will be enough for American Gun owners to stand on to over throw a fascist gov.

though I dont own any, i realize if guns were ever made illegal(which i seriously doubt will happen) that only criminals would have them
