In a way yes I can relate. I've never been what today's view of "beautiful" is. Genetics cursed me with acne that I'm STILL struggling with at 24 (although it's not NEARLY as bad now) & I'm a size 14 although I don't look it....it's just because I have bigger hips & such. I was forever made fun of in middle school because I didn't look like all the rest of the popular snotty b!tches...luckily people grew up somewhat by the time high school had hit & I was left alone. hallelujah! Nowadays I really could care less what people think of me but I do have my moments where it does get to me....especially if I'm out somewhere & getting weird looks....

I used to be and even now I am nagged by my mother for not studying and having the good results in exams.
I am always compared to brightest sons and daughters of fellow employees in my mothers workplace.(how they get 90 percent and more and how they gave all the exams and went to US and this and that, and so on.)
I used to be pestered when I was a kid because of my weight. I was a chubby kid then.

Yes. I've been told I'm fat and ugly. I'm not pretty. I know that. I'm no beauty. I'm smart so guys don't like really smart girls. It brings me to tears at night when people do this to people. Guys think all that and go like allt he skinny showy girls. Thats their problem. Those girls won't get respect. I guess its better to be pretty though. o, they also don't like me b/c I hate blue jeans. So Unpretty is exactly how I am.

All the time thats why its on my mp3 player. People use to always comparing me to my BFF they say that im the fat ugly one and thats shes pretty and skinny.I use to let it bother me and feel bad about my self then i tryto make myself fee better by wearing makeup and hair extensions, but now i don't and people don't even call me ugly anymore since i started high school

i can definately relate to this song. i mean 1min i feel pretty the next i cant stand to look at my self in the mirror. although its hard we all have to accept that there is someone prettier than u, so u just have to know urself and ur flaws and love them. ur bf is not worth it if he brings u down like that , u deserve better.

i really love that song, it gets to me all the time because it reminds me of myself and how much i try to love myself and the times ive tried to be pretty just so other people would notice me. I try not to do that (comparing myself to others), its become a bad habit.
