I have to go to the dentist, to get my theeth clean, I hate going to the dentist, cause ever since I was about 8 years old, I had to get poked with needles, from docters and dentist, But I have to go, cause I want to take care of myself.

I hate going to the dentist. Everytime I go, I end up getting teeth pulled. I've had 23 teeth pulled, and I'm only 28. (No, I don't have dentures. They were baby teeth, and I had an extra set growing in the roof of my mouth....)
It isn't the needle that bothers me. It's the sound of the drill or the tooth being ripped out of my skull.
May I suggest that you do not watch "The Dentist" movies prior to your visit...

Well everyone doesn't really like going to the dentist much but it does make you feel satisfied once you have gone. Going to the dentist means you care about your teeth and look after them. So go and keep strong.

They make a very good topical numbing agent that your dentist can put on your gums prior to injections. It makes the injections pain free. They put it on with a Q~tip and let you sit for 10 minutes. After that stuff, no needle pain. I will not go to a dentist unless they use that topical numbing goo first.

I think my daughter can now say she HATES going to the Dentist more than anyone. She had her wisdom teeth removed a little over a week ago...They actually gave her to much medication and she became very very sick..Then they gave her Penicillan, her BP went sky high as well as her heart rate..
As for myself, I don't trust them, I always have problems afterwards. What I did do, was buy a really good oral brush system and my gums and teeth have never looked better....Good Luck....

I know what you mean, I was poked and prodded til I was twenty-five. I had my teeth removed and have been to the dentist only once since but I don't suggest you follow for it hurt more then anything I have happen before.

I really don't mind the dentist. I use to when I was little because I had a bad experience with a dentist, but after a few good experiences, it all evened out. My husband is terrified of the dentist! Lol! They have to give him a Valium before he goes...
It's best to take care of your teeth because cleanings are no big deal. It's when you have to have work done that it gets harder. Although, you can't listen to horror stories ppl have because I was really afraid to have a root canal done because of what ppl said. After I had it done, it was NOT at all bad...

omg i hate going to the dentist and i hat getting poked with needles too!i just dont like needles not that it hurts but i just dont.i know i have to go to keep my teeth clean but i hate it.well i cant imagine if nobody went to the dentist.eeeeeeeeeewwwwwwww!

Oh my God. If I could Id avoid going for the rest of my life. I hate the feeling after they clean your teeth and make you put the gel in your mouth for a minute... :-X I love having nice teeth but going to the dentist no thanks!
