why do men die younger than women ?

The main reason that men die before women is because they don't have the same amount of estrogen in their bodies. Estrogen protects the body from things like heart disease and other things. Also women up until lately weren't the ones who were responsible for providing food and housing for the family. Thousands of years ago men were the hunters and would be killed either in that endeavor or while at war. Most of the women were kept "safe" at home. Today most men die earlier than women because of the estrogen and because most men won't go to the doctor until it's to late to take care of the issue before it becomes life threatening.
