Old Green Day was alright. Green Day freakin' sucks now. If you're gonna listen to punk, Green Day shouldn't even be in the conversation. Bad Religion, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, NOFX, Strung Out, The Offspring are all way better. You should check 'em out.

Green Day is AWESOME!!!! They rock me so hard. I mean they've been #1 for like 15 years and they still kick everyone's butt. I normally would think someone covering John Lennon would be weird, but they do it so great. And they stand up for stuff, they're helping people and I think it makes them even awesomer. GREEN DAY ROCKS!!! People who say they sold out are so stupid. They just want to hate because they've been so good for so long. Isn't it a good thing when people like your music?
