Which religious group did they murder last time?
Anyone who believes the earth is 6,000 years old, that all of humanity came from 2 people, that a man survived inside the stomach of a whale for 3 days, that 30 million species of animals fit on one boat for 40 days then repopulated the entire earth, that all of man's languages were created haphazardly from one location and then spread to other areas of the earth, and that Jesus will return one day when the kingdom of Israel succeeds in drawing all the empires of the earth to attack it, is dangerous in my book.
You're free to believe what you want, just don't try to impose your beliefs on me through political policies and stepping over into public space.

ex-Christian.
Now this is the democrat I know. This is your poster boy.

All of them. They'll make some ridiculous law about it being unlawful to pray in your own home because it's child abuse to manipulate children into not believing in evolution.
They try to control everything else, why not.

Waco? Yeah, the Democrats did that, not the police and FBI... (sarcasm)

Actually, you are very right. What happened at Waco is proof of the incapacity of the US government to allow the tyniest opposition to flourish. Strangely, you blame it on demos. We both know there is not the slightest difference between demos and repos.
They are both amoral and a-religious. NOBODY who is religious can support this war. Anybody who does is a hypocrite. Nothing is more anathema to Christianity than war.
I understand you resent the WACO incident particularly. But i can mention a handful of similar events, such as the persecution of the Black Panthers and SDS that similarly represent the violence of the state against dissenting institutions.
My suggestion: Check out what Nader has to say. He is a very intelligent man. He writes often in CouterPunch.org and he just released a book on the moral principles his Lebanese parents raised him by. I think a moral rational individual in the US needs to understand that the republican party is not conservative and that the Democratic party is not liberal.
But if you want a better system you must educate your self. The only reason demos and repos are running this crazy racket is because most people did not know enough about the Middle East to immediately stop the presses and say: We are being conned, which you were.
I doubt anything like Waco will take place in the near future though. The second targets of your government, after it gets out of the ME, are in Latin America. You will cheer, as usual. But remember you are next.

Many Dems and Libs are Christian since the United States is 85% Christian. Wait, that is an oxymoron considering most Liberal values completely contradict those found in Christianity...

Democrats don't hate Christians and don't view them as dangerous. Believe it or not many of them are Christians!! You like that idea though as it justifies you own non-Christian thoughts and action. Your hate is coming through loud and clear. Very Christian. Now do you see why people like you are so despised?

Just like the registered Republican Timothy McVeigh?
On the eve of 9/11, there was a Republican President, a Republican Governor and a Republican Mayor and we saw what happened.

Liberals who constantly blame R's (check answers above) for murder need a history lesson...JFK and Johnson (Vietnam) and Truman (A bomb), just to name a few biggies. This name calling, finger pointing game is ridiculous (for both sides). Read a history book, and stop watching the tabloid news. They want you to stereotype and get angry. Seems to work on the weak.
