Is there a way to get IE6 back and at the same time install IE7?

If there isn't, is there a browser i can install separatly that is exactly the same as IE6?

I need to know not because i detest IE7, but because i need to make my website cross-browser compatible.

Thanks in advance, 10 points for a best answer :)

Microsoft provide a virtual machine image for just this purpose: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2007/04/17/ie7-virtual-pc-image-and-ie6-virtual-pc-image-refresh.aspx

It expires in about a month, but I expect they'll release another update for it just before then.

You can't. Microsoft has decided that they will only allow one of their browsers to run at a time. If you would like more then one browser, try Firefox. It really works well, and can be run along with IE.
