If you have two computers,how do u connect the two of them to the internet?

I have two comps,one downstaris and one up stairs,the one down has internect acesses,so i was wondering how do i connect both of them to internet

YOu need to network them together. That takes some knowledge of what you're doing, and I'm guessing you don't have it, or you wouldn't be asking. Call your network service provider and ask for a technician to come to your house. You'll have to pay for it, but you'll know it's done right.

I am a technician..I cant believe these folks are jerking you around on this...go to walmart get a router and connect one to your desktop and the other computer will need to have a wireless card or it wont work unless you use a USB cable to connect the second computer to the router and the router to the modem....this is very simple to do and you can get support at the store and over the phone..lol...I cant believe they are making this sound like brain surgery..rofl!!!

You need a router which will provide seperate lines so you can use the internet on the two computers. If upstairs, then a wireless router would save you the cable work. I use my laptop and also the computer. Mind you can only log on one computer at once. Its good for families where two people want to log on with different addresses.

Connect one to a wireless router like linksys routers and then make sure other comp has a wirless card and you will be set up.
