Scary Movie 2 is amazing although not scary at all. I really liked The Ring because it had a story line and didn't have any unnecessary gore to make the movie good like I think many scary movies have today. The Exorcist is a classic, The Shining is okay, IT scared a lot of people when they were younger I know it'll freak you out if you think clowns are creepy, if you're really into gore horror then the Saw movies are good, I heard The Descent is one of the best horror movies out there so I highly reccommend that one!

Scary: The Exorcist, Candyman, Night of the Demons, and any of the Witchboard or "Witchcraft" movies.
Really good, and a little bit scary: The Hitcher, Joy Ride, Scream, Urban Legends, I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Personally for me movies like Nightmare on Elmstreet or Halloween or Friday the 13th...They did not scare me they are kinda corney.
But there are movies that freak me out a good one is mothman prophies dont know if you ever saw that. Another good one is the Shining and there is this movie I saw when I was younger probably not that scary anymore but it was called the gate.

well I love the Rob Zombie movies kinda cheesy but good. nothing beats a really scary movie I loved blair witch project just for the last 5 mins. but hostel is nothing more than blood and guts. guess it depends on what you think is scary.
