Being an American there is actually a way to go to Cuba. it is very restricted but there are some exceptions. there are some travel agencies that already have the License from the Treasure Department to take tourists there. "people to People" is one of them and there are some more. Americans are not allowed to travel to Cuba if they don't ask for permission. there are religious organizations that are given licenses too. there are direct flights from Miami,FL; New york and Los Angeles. if you have the permission you can go straight. you can also go through a third country BUT if you are caught you will pay a $75 000 fine.(How you get caught? -trying to enter any Cuban stuff to the country, if something goes wrong there where are you going to go? American Consulate and the first question will be. What are you doing here?) I am not saying don't go to Cuba. Just ask for permission.
also if you have relatives there it is easier.

You can't, legally in your country.
It's a shame because Cuba is a very interesting country.
I notice that someone has made a comment about Fidel Castro. Last week, when he made a TV apppearance for an interview, everyone was getting ready to watch it.
I travel alone to Cuba regularly for a vacation. It is inexpensive and fun. I joined an exercise class in a local park - for free - this time, and ate some of the best "fast" food I have ever had in a little local restaurant.
One of my reasons for choosing a small town is that I not only feel secure but I meet people and make friends. There is no question that the beaches are wonderful and the marine life amazing as well.
Might be worth the $$ risk if you are rich. I was told that it cost an american who got caught $15 000.

I believe you have to enter Cuba via another country that flies there. Americans can go to Cuba.

There are no direct flights from the US to Cuba, so you have to take a "gateway" country. Easiest way for Americans is to fly to Cuba from Canada, Mexico, or Jamaica.

Americans aren't allowed to go to Cuba but I believe that's our own government not allowing us, not the Cuban one. If you went to Canada I believe you could go to Cuba.

Since America has not lifted the embargo to Cuba, you cannot fly directly from the US but you can fly via another country (like Mexico)

from here we can't legally becuase of the retarded ban.
If you go to Canada or Mexico you can book a flight from there, but they might find out and harrass you about it.
It's our government not there's that's giving us crap.
Maby once Castro dies we will beable to go. People are just so paranoid about communism that's the problem.
I always wanted to visit Havana. i hope to before I die
