You only have a 20% chance of conceiving each month BUT if you can figure out what day you ovulate you have much better odds. Grab some of those pee on ovulation tests and read the instructions - they will tell you when to start testing so you can do the baby dance a few times before you ovulate. Good luck to you!

I just wanted to make a comment from "avantikaj" above. I just think she shouldn't say that you're took young. I'm 22 (which is a little older than you) but I know exactly how you feel about really wanting to get pregnant. I believe that everyone is different and since you're husband is 6 years older than you I think it's good for you to start trying while you're a little younger. I think the best chance to get pregnant would be to make sure you know when you are ovulating (usually 14 days from the first day of your period) and maybe even use an ovulation kit or keep track of your temperature. Just try and have sex at least every other day. A website I really like is www.babycenter.com It has a lot of good information.

With my first child I got pregnant within 3 mos. But I will say with my second I got off depo around the time I wanted another baby but it unfortunately took 3 years after the depo. My 3rd pregnancy I hadnt been on any b/c and got pregnant right away (with twins)

Exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months is a natural highly effective contraceptive method.. So if you aren't breastfeeding nor on any type of contraception you have the same chance to get pregnant as any other woman.. The pre-ejaculate thing lowers the chances however..A bit maybe..

You have left out a lot of information. Are you overweight? Are you both healthy? What is the hurry? You are only 19. How long have you been married?

I had my first baby at 19 and I look back now, and I knew nothing. I thought I did. Maturity and mother nature know best. Live your married life a little bit, get settled financially so you can stay home with the children and raise them. Think of these things before starting a family, please....

It depends how fertile you both are mainly; and when during your cycle you try; but putting your body under stress to concieve usually slows things down.

Most ttc couples successfully concieve within two years.

You should go to your doctors to discuss diets or if necessary dietry supplements that will help your fertility, and prepare you for concieving, and pregnancy.
(but why specifically september - don't rush so much, take your time and enjoy it)
Kick out caffine, it causes fertility problems, and can damage foetuses.

If you plan it perfectly you have a 25% chance of conceiving in any given month. This is mainly because not all our eggs are fertilizable due to anbormalities. I got pregnant the first time I tried with my daughter by timing sex pefectly, so it can happen. Good luck.

When my husband and I started trying I got pregnant in about a month. I didn't worry about when it would happen and the only time I really thought about was when my period was due. So, don't stress about it, and it will happen soon.

It depends on your body but it sounds like it wouldn't be that difficult especially since you got off your birth control so long ago. Good luck.
