What some people don't realize is that when you outlaw guns, only OUTLAWS HAVE GUNS. Gun Control is a joke. If other people on campus had a gun at the time of the shooting, then that sociopath would have been shot long before he took more than a couple shots.

Quit relying on the government to protect you! And think for you! That is just absurd.......

With each and every of the black marketplace guns obtainable immediately new regulations does no longer help some thing. no matter if the in ordinary words thanks to get a gun might want to be to purchase it legally, in ordinary words regulation abiding human beings might want to obey the regulation. A nutcase like this guy receives a gun or 2 no remember what the regulation is. you could make guns thoroughly unlawful and then the in ordinary words ones that would want to have them might want to be the law enforcement officials and the criminals and 9 situations out of 10 a nasty guy shouldn't shoot an section up if there are law enforcement officials there. What do you do then? i might want to really manage to tug my personal gun and safeguard myself and my relatives, i do not care whose thoughts I damage.

I fail to see the humor in your sarcasm. VA Tech was a tragic event to the likes to which I hope no school in this country ever has to go through again.

I'm in support of any bill that prevents those with mental issues from ever buying a gun.

Unless you are mentally ill, adjudicated mentally ill, or are a criminal, or have commited a crime of Domestic Violence, or are on parole/probation, this law shouldn't even come close to effecting you. It's simply a provision to make it so that the FBI and the NICS and all states share information to keep the guns from those who don't belong having them.

Every single thing is this country has to be made a political issue, doesn't it? A crazy guy shot a bunch of people with some pistols. I don't know what kind of wild west **** idea it is to be suggesting a bunch of college kids carry guns, but I can tell you this, giving everybody a gun won't solve gun violence. That's drowning and saying, "Hey, if I just start breathing water instead of air, I won't drown because I'll still be breathing!"
Everybody in this country is ******* nuts,

" I wonder how many would have died if the students were allowed to legally carry firearms. My guess is that coward would not have had the chance to kill anyone. "

Oh yeah. That would have really helped. A bunch of untrained college students packing heat.
Scared, with little if any training, shooting at anything and everything that moves.......yup; that would be a great idea.
Life aint a video game. And it aint the movies either.

Even the NRA agrees that tighter laws should prevent access to guns by the mentally ill. I'll be sure to send the victim's families your regards.
