If I were to say yes then you would laugh, and so would every one else. But to say that I haven't seen a UFO would then also be a lie, simply because I believe I have seen one. So where does that leave me? Trying to explain something I cannot prove. But I will try anyway.
My father and I were camping in the mountains of Southern Califorina, Big Bear area, and we both saw something we could not identify. It was at approximately 5000 feet above where we were and traveled east to west in a very large arc. Almost as if viewing an object that was flying in a straight line but viewed through a fisheye lens of a camera.
It left a blue/red/sparking silver trail behind it.
Was it a craft of some kind? Don't know.
Was it a meteor? Don't know.
Did we get pictures? nope
Was it a UFO? yep. Cause we never did figure out what it was.
This happened more than 50 years ago. It has always puzzled me and most likely always will.

I'm slightly bemused by this question because it takes me back to a few years ago (which I like to refer to as my youth...lol j/k) when my friends and I would hop into our cars at night and go UFO hunting. Actually, my first ever car accident was caused by spotting a "UFO" whichl....turned out to be a huge (and newly erected, mind you) parkinglot lamp. Don't worry I wasn't the one driving (it was my friends car) and it was only a fender bender. =)
Anyway, the point is, it's fun to think that there's life out there other than us...or that there are aliens among us, or that there are flying saucers or things unidentifiable. Humanity as a whole has a generally overactive imagination. Give us an inch and we go a mile.
So in answering your question, No...I've never seen a real UFO. No spacy ships landing and abducting me. I've seen weird planes...mostly military jets. And that's what I attribute most UFO sighting to: Military airforce experimentation. The military is constantly coming up with new weapons and new airplanes and jets and flying machines. I personally don't think Earth is going to be invaded anytime soon. =) However, the doesn't mean that I don't believe there's life out there......dun dun dun...
But UFO searching is fun...I'll give you that much.

I once saw three lights in the evening sky that move across it at a great speed, stopped on a dime then took off at a sharp acute angle. I can not identify this flying object, but it was strange.

Hi. As an astronomer I saw many things flying in space or in front of the Moon that I could not identify. Does not make them suspicious, just not identified by me.
