it is coming from the value cover there is 69,000 miles on the clock what should i do

Sounds more like a loose rocker arm or stuck lifter, possible bad valve, or plugged oil hole

Are you sure it's coming from the head and not the valve cover?

If it's from the valve cover, it could be a stuck lifter. Do you have any more information such as miles, etc.?
