Everytime I read something about politics it always mentions GOP -- what the heck does that mean & what does it stand for? It's driving me crazy. I've asked some people who I figured would know the answer & they themselves have no clue.

That's okay. It means Grand Old Party. I didn't know what it stood for either until a few months ago.

Grand Old Party. It has a great history and as a FORMER Republican I was proud of the GOP, but no more. No true Republican would ever support torture or baseless wars or massive debt or warrantless searches overturning our Constitution.

Now it stands for Greed, Oppression, Pollution
