I'm 17 weeks pregnant. I have a call into my Dr's office, but I was just curious to know if anyone else has experienced this and did the feeling turn out to be pre-term labor. Thanks

I went into pre-term labor when i was about 17 weeks pregnant, but i felt a tightning in my lower abdomen and i didn't feel any pain. But all preganacies are different and if you are concerned, you need to go to your doctor right away. They have shots they can give you to stop the labor but it has to be done early. If you are in pre term labor and wait too long, the medication wont work to stop the contractions. they also gave me a prescription after the third time i went into preterm labor, and it kept me from going into labor until it was time.

Its most likely gas.

At 38w6d I WISH it was labor pains. But no, just the tooties. ;)

Depending on how severe and lasting the pain is I would call your doctor. Just remember that there will be many days of discomfort as you grow.

it could be the baby moving! Sometime it feels like bubbles, sometimes it feels like pressure, sometimes its an obvious kick!!
