There's an AWFUL lot of partisan bashing going on - and by that, I mean questions posted for no purpose other than to insult the other users of this site.

Does it seem worse today than usual?

(I realize this question isn't ABOUT politics, but it's about the politics section, and I'm curious about the opinions of other politics section regulars, so that's why I posted it here.)

You danged libtard moonbeam (or something like that)!

To answer your question seriously, yes, they are. The number of questions like "Why are libtards so stupid?" and "Libtards are a joke because ____" is just astounding and sad. They serve no purpose other than to insult half of America for the other half's amusement. Pathetic.

When has this site not consisted of partisan bashing?

Good grief, I posted a political joke and got severely bashed for it. Yet, not too long ago, someone from the other side posted one and got applauded for it (their side of course). LOL

We do get some dialog going from time to time and I genuinely do appreciate that. In a few instances, my mind has actually been able to change itself.

It's the same every day.

When the majority of questions start with,"Why are libs so blind...," or "Cons are so stupid because...," there is never going to be an intelligent discussion; just defensive statements defending people's respective party affiliation.

Part of politics is party bashing. There not going to say nice things about each other now are they.
